Braving the Elements

"During a 3-day blizzard that dumped several feet of snow on the ground, I decided to go in the basement and take pictures through the window," says Philip Schwarz of Menomonie, Wisconsin. "One of the first shots I took was this male northern cardinal battling the strong winds and heavy snow."
