Kris Wetherbee, an internationally-published author, freelance writer and recipe developer, specializes in food, travel, natural health, horticulture, nature and wildlife, gardening and outdoor living. Her work has appeared in more than 95 magazines, including Birds & Blooms, Country Living, Woman's Day, Better Homes & Gardens special interest publications, Cooking Light, Coastal Living, Sunset, Via, Birds & Blooms, Garden Design, The American Gardener, Organic Gardening, Saturday Evening Post, Town & Country, and Eating Well. She is also the author of the book Attracting Birds, Butterflies & Other Winged Wonders to Your Backyard. Wetherbee launched her journalism career 25 years ago as a communications director and editor for a national membership organization. She is also a former publisher/editor of Organic Offerings, a bimonthly organic gardener and food newsletter, and a certified organic market gardener.
