Sally Roth is a lifelong naturalist and gardener who loves sharing her enthusiasm for all things wild. She’s an award-winning author of more than 20 books on birds, butterflies and plants, from the best-seller The Backyard Bird Feeder’s Bible to her newest book that explores the science behind the Scriptures, An Eye on the Sparrow. Her speaking engagements range from Cornell University, Philadelphia Flower Show, and Marchand International Horticulture Conference to local garden clubs and nature sanctuaries. Sally lives with photographer husband Matt Bartmann in an off-the-grid home located high in the Rocky Mountains. And what’s it having a windmill producing your eletricity, having to cut wood for your stove and lugging your water from a spring? Sally loves it and says it’s like living a hundred years ago, but with wi-fi.
