I can’t tell what the 1st one is….but I could make an educated guess on the 2nd one, but I don’t want to spoil the “surprise”….LOL  Glad to see they are growing for you., Sandy.  We may soon have to start a “baby” picture thread.  Charlene

Good morning Molly and Wendy and all to follow.  We are starting our day out at 15º.  The hoarfrost on the trees is beautiful this morning.  We did end up getting about 4″ of snow yesterday and lots more in the forecast for the next few days.

Molly….sometimes we just go with our gut feeling rather than placing faith in the weather dudes….good thing you did.

Wendy…..I also just read about your wonderful evening in the chit chat thread.  Congrats to you again!  You deserve everything you get, but how fortunate that your company rewards good work the way they do.  I know you have lots of stuff that you have gotten with cards for good perfprmance and for winning contests.  I will be anxious to hear what youe get at BB.

Work in my shop for me today….la-la-la…..Have a great day everyone.  Charlene

Sandy….I also am growing some of the annual vinca.  My directions said to wrap it with black plastic, so they must need more moisture and extra dark to germinate.  Once I saw about ½ of them up I removed the plastic….and they were more yellow than some seedlings, but they have greened up.  You did good by following instructions.

We all have our own way of doing things, but what ever works.  Charlene

Good evening everyone.  It is raining and freezing here and supposed to snow on top of that tonight and tomorrow…..then Friday is suppoased to be nice and then a big snow storm for the weekend.  We need the moisture and I have no place to go other than work, so I won’t complain.

Kathy….so sorry you missed your fancy meal.  Doesn’t that just make you want to kick yourseld in the….knee??  LOL

Stella….I am so proud of you for your exercise class thing.  I need to get motivated again.  I still am doing the teadmill thin occasionally, but I need to get on a routine.  Guess I just got the winter hum drums.

I would be proud too, Nancy!  Kudos to your DS, DDIL, and your DGD!  It is good to see what others don’t have….and to try to help them out is very great!  Charlene

You’re welcome, Gitti.  I sure hope they grow for you!  If you have any questions just give me a shout.

Gayle….I am thinking that all the hours in my shop and the stuff I have to do at home does not allow for a “sideline” job……unless I can figure out a way to function w/out sleep…..lol  Charlene

Karen….so glad to hear that your Mom does not have the big C as she thought.  I hope her surgery goes well.  Drs have that open heart thing down to a science, so I am confident all will go well.  Thanks for the update and I hope you can get some rest now.  Charlene

Good morning Sue, Bette and all who visit later.  We are starting our day at 20º and temps may be flirting with the 30s later today….very nice for here.  Of course, the warmer temps will bring more snow which is okay with me since we are so low on moisture.

Just another day in my shop and I have a business luncheon to go to, so that is different.

Sue….good luck with your battle.  It’s not easy fighting “city hall”, but sometimes it has got to be done.

Bette…..I hope your tomatoes are just being slow and not going to be a no show.  I don’t envy you having to do those reports.  I hate anything related with bookwork.

34 years ago today we had temps of -40º….I remember that because I had a baby that day…..lol.

Have a great Tuesday everyone.  Charlene

Molly….good morning….guess we were typing at the same time.  I also have some seeds germinating faster than normal, while others are taking their time.  I see the tray that I planted Saturday has several Cape Cod daisisies, nolana, and dahlias peeking through this morning.  Hope you don’t get too cold this weekend.  Charlene

Steve…..many of my combinations are by accident.  When I plant mixed colors and don’t know what they are when I plant them, it is always exciting to see what color they turn out to be and what they look like.  I like your torenia ans Salvia together.

Gayle…..aren’t tulips nice?  Always a sign of hope for warmer weather.

Carol….very lovely garden you have there!

I lucked out on this color combo……Laurentia, Nierembergia, and Lobelia

Carol, forgot to say that your fountain will be pretty planting with flowers spilling over.  Charlene
