I would put then in a wet paper towel or coffee filter…slip them in a ziplock….and put them in the fridge…..or even in the garage.  They will root out inside the paper towel and have a good start when you are able to plant them outside.  I am only giving this advice because I have done it before and it works….in zone 4….and I am giving advice to a zone 4 gardener.  Charlene

Good morning Molly, Leslie and all who visit later.  It is 34º here this morning, but at least it isn’t raining.  We are supposed to get into the 40s today, but may not see the sun.  I miss the sun!  I need it to alter my mood and give me some energy.

Just another Monday in my shop for me.  We took our taxes to our lawyer and haven’t heard back yet….sure hope we do today cuz DH is nervous about the whole deal.  We usually get a snall refund from federal and have to pay in about that same amount to state.

Molly….I’ve heard that switching food for pets is not good unless you do it gradually….so you made the right decision.

Leslie….what is an ISO audit?  The word audit always scares me….lol.

Have a great Monday everyone.  Charlene

Stella….I think planting all of those in a large pot would be a good idea.  That would make it easier to keep them watered and give them room for their roots to grow and develop.  Charlene

Gayle….what a change in 2 weeks!  You are right….by the 1st of May they would have been done.  I think we can all share our garden progression pics when ever we feel is the right time.  Looks good, Gayle.  Charlene

Pretty tulips Steve and Gayle….and I do believe you, Steve.

Leslie…how lucky for you to have those live over!  My seedlings show promise of blooming someday.

    Sandy….love your primrose.

Like Sandy….I am posting pics from last year yet.

My Naked Lady Lilies are showing green….but it will be a long time before I see their blooms.

Ili….a bit difficult to see your leaves on that pic, but you can look at my pic and see if the leaves are the same.

Yay….glad that the lost dogs were found.  I am sure that is a load off your mind, Del.

Good for you to take action and show a little tough love to the boys….it is probably time for you to de-stress for awhile.  So where is nathan going to sleep if you don’t let him stay at your place anymore?  Charlene

Wow, Julie and Lair….you both have some vines wanting to take over your homes!  I have been there before, so I now also wait until I can start them in the GH and give them something to climb on rather than the mini blinds and every other plant in reach.  Charlene

You got that right!  Sounds like they could both be asking for trouble by living together before either is divorced…..(shaking my head here)….32 should be old enough to start acting like an adult, wouldn’t you say?

You need to make a soap opera of your life….lol Charlene

Janet….I am not a good one to give advice because of our different zones.  I have to dig mine every fall and store them.  When I plant them in the Spring I space them 18″ apart….is it possible that yours are overcrowded?  I also find that if I don’t feed mine several times in the summer months they do not bloom as well the following year.  Also…I have mine where they get morning sun only or they seem to wilt in the heat of full sun.

Hopefully someone from your zone can give you better instructions than me.  Charlene
