Glads are one of those plants that I love.  In somebody else’s yard.  LIL  If I ever find a perfect spot for them, I’ll try again.

These are some from previous years.

It’s good that he is able to do these things.  He looks content.

Yep, occasionally.  Had one in the garage one time.  Wasn’t real happy with that.  I’m not afraid of them.  Live & let live; Just don’t come too close.

    Good evening everybody.

The most exciting news of the day was I saw my first Hummingbird this afternoon.  I immediately made some food & will put the feeder out tomorrow.

Other than that I worked all morning into early afternoon & did some housework when I got home.  Ran the vacuum, mopped floors & dusted.  Now I can spend tomorrow outside.

I was planning on doing some yard work when I got home but it clouded up & got pretty breezy just after I got home so decided to wait till tomorrow.

Nothing else is new around here.   Hope everybody has had a good day.

Looks like some good shows on TV tonight.  Stalker is coming back for 3 final shows so I’ll be watching that & the late showing of Bates Motel.

Steve I have Ad Bloc & still see it.   When I was telling the story about my water heater, those words came put in blue when posted.  They probably will again here.

Just like they are in Melissa’s opening post here.

Good afternoon everybody.  I just got home from work a little while ago.

It was sunny & I was going out to do some weeding but it’s clouded over since I walked in the door.  So guess I’ll piddle here for a while & run the vacuum instead & a damp mop over the floors.  Then I can spend tomorrow outside.

I finally figured out how to turn the  water valve off on the water heater last night.  Let it dry around the fittings some & then sprayed all the fittings to the hot water line with Flex Seal.  I haven’t turned it back on yet.  Letting it set up for a while longer.  If it still seeps when I turn it back on then I’ll need the plumber.

I have so much going on this week & next that I am  considering leaving it off & just turning it on when needed., for the next couple weeks. I’m going to be gone more than I’m here for those weeks anyway.  Kind of a personal On Demand system. LOL  I still have water in the 50 gal. tank that I’m using & when that gets low  I’ll turn the water supply back on to fill it up & then off again.   I turned the breaker off this morning.  I figured no use heating the water in the tank if I have the water to the tank turned off.   I’ll need to do laundry before I leave here Friday , so I’ll probably need to turn it back on for that or at least after.  I’ll try to do it all in one load & use cold water.   And I’ll need to heat it up for showers.

First thing though is to turn it back on tonight, or in the morning,  & see if the Flex Seal worked.  If it did then no need for a plumber.  And no need to turn off & on.

I should qualify as a plumber myself after this.

Mine are almost done.  I have different types, early bloomers, mid season & late bloomers.

I don’;t think I’m that much north of Molly to make any difference but I am closer to the water, so  a little cooler  here most of the time.  Maybe that’s it.
