It is a real nice day where I am, but that is all going to change this week when the snow approaches. LOL Its like clockwork here when halloween hits. I think by thursday or friday it is only going to be in the upper 20′s at night.

I’ll never find cherry juice where I live. Its hard enough trying to find anything remotely good for you here, although our krogers is starting to carry more organic and healthy stuff, just not what I’m accustomed to where I used to shop.

Corns are extra skin that grows like a callous. I’ve had one of those off and on for years on my little toe.

I’m just now wondering if it could be gout, since I do have arthritis. Its hard to tell the difference between a bunion and gout, because they look similar in photos. I guess I’ll have to get it checked out.

Date with old men? Well, I’m sure it beats the hillbilly that tried to pick me up at the haunted house in town last night. I was hoping clowns would eat his face, and then the brat children he had with him. Talk about creepster. LOL

Don’t talk to me about sneezing and colds. I’ve been sick since the day I moved to WV. No one with seasonal allergies should ever move to a state where the pollen count is extremely high every day, because the season never ends in this weed infested state. Misery. That’s what it has been. I’ve never been so sick in my entire life until I moved here. haha

I’ve become a homebody since moving to WV. Probably because there really is not much to do here, unless you are into wilderness and that just never was my thing. so much is closed on the weekends or during winter. Town I live in is pretty much nothing but second hand stores, so there isn’t anything fantastic to see. If you want something to do you have to either drive to Beckley or a few times a year DD and I head to Christiansburg in VA. I do miss going to the theater, museums, all of the fun things to do for kids, we don’t even have a zoo or aquarium here. Haha

Oh yeah, DD works at the Salvation Army, and even when she was pregnant the other workers went in to their little office and stole her food from the frig. I’m not sure why people feel entitled to just help themselves to stuff people work hard for. She also had her purse robbed a few times there also. Someone stole one of her prescriptions and money a few times. People are rotten.

That happens at so many places. I used to work for a family doctor. If you put anything in the frig, it was game to anyone else it seemed. LOL There was a girl that worked there that ate a tremendous amount of food every day, skinny as a rail, but she had a really high metabolism I suppose. Anyhow, I could always expect her to eat food from the frig that I had brought in for my lunch. Haha she used to do it all the time and I’d say something and she didn’t think there was anything wrong with it.   We had lockers when I worked in a warehouse years ago. Same thing happened there, if you left something in the frig, it was open season. I just think its rude, but people do it all the time.

People here are after copper wire. If they know something has coppre in it, they steal it. Last christmas copper thieves actually stole all the copper out of the christmas light display at the park and the city had to replace them in order to put on the show. We have a lot of vacant houses in the town I live in. Seems like a lot of people bailing out for better opportunity in other states, not to mention the never ending drug problem here, but that’s another story. But people will break in, steal what they can and then leave the damage for the real estate agents or the new homeowners. I had actually been looking at a huge house on the other side of town, spoke to the realtor a few times. People came in, stole the heating unit, all the duct work, all the plumbing, wiring, you name it, they took it. I would never have been able to fix the place back up to how it was. I wondered why the house was listed so cheap. It was just a shell. LOL

I haven’t had a raise at my job since I started, my boss told me they couldn’t afford to give me a raise. LOL But knowing what I know about how much in taxes and business fees they pay along with all of the office expenses, I’m wondering how they are paying me the little they do without bouncing the check.

Yes, it is a very very different world anymore. I’d love to go back to the 70′s when I was growing up. Times were so better then. Neighbors were neighbors and people actually conversed with you, everyone knew everyone else and people watched out for each other. Now its just people looking to see what they can get from anyone, no one talks to you, but they sure know what you have. No one seems to have any respect for anyone else’s possessions anymore. I live out of city limits on a windy mountain road and there is so much robbery out where I live, its ridiculous. I’ve got neighbors accusing each other of robbing their own family members because they all seem to be related in some way around me, its unbelievable. One guy that only lived here about 2 months came home from work one day and had all of his groceries stolen. He moved, only made it 3 months up here on the hill. LOL  I’ve had to change the locks on my place 3 times since I’ve lived here from people trying to get into my house when I’m not home and busting the outside door lock, and they’ve pretty much helped themselves to the little bit of stuff I had in my yard, broke a few of Lilli’s outside toys climbing on them trying to get into one of my windows, so I don’t keep anything out there any longer. They even so much as came in my yard and stole my cinder blocks a few months ago! HAHA I think if I had known who it was and caught them, they would have gotten smashed in the teeth with one. I’m definitely not afraid to load the rifle I keep in my closet and shoot someone’s knee caps off if it comes to it. I work hard for the little I do have, and I’ll be danged if I’m going to let any of these welfare pill heads around me take what I work for. You honestly cannot trust a soul where I live, its that bad.

I suppose the doctors are being cautious. Also her lab work came back abnormal in a few different areas, Dr. called day before last to tell the DD to get her back to the lab as soon as possible. so they ran more labs yesterday and it will take a few days to get those results. otherwise, she seems to be eating well and her color is better than it was. She also gained 5 ounces back which is good. She sure is a tiny tot and cute as a button. Her pediatrician still wants to see her 2 times a week for another week or two, to check the joints in her legs and arms, the murmur and we’ll see what happens with the lab work as soon as the results are back.

My nephew was 4 pounds when he was born, and he’s a big kid now. lol

That guy was in a restaurant the night before he went to the hospital where a friend of mine in the city was eating.  Yes “they” say it is hard to catch, but “they” also told us it would not ever reach the U.S. if I remember correctly. Bodily fluids are easily excreted in many different ways, from coughs which produce phlegm to sneezes that can surround a person up to several feet. So I’m not believing others aren’t at some kind of risk, especially given such close quarters of riding subways and eating in restaurants and the authorities announcing if anyone was in the same subway car, or restaurant, to keep an eye on symptoms, which can take a few weeks to appear. So, if it isn’t contagious, why the warning?

It finally went down here to 2.99, after being around 3.69 forever. I’m actually surprised it has gone that low where I am, but it won’t last I’m sure. Some more rural area’s are still gouging though. I know of one station that is still charging 3.40ish out a few towns from me
