Morning.  Warming up here again today.

Sharon is that a Sheltie?  I love those dogs.  Wonderful pictures again today.

Marnee, love the hummer pictures.  And yes it does look like fall, not ready for that at all.

Cliff nice pictures again today.  Have a great lunch and cards with your lady friends.

Marge interesting looking moth.  Our yard this year had been void of butterflies/moths and even hummingbirds.

Welcome Steep, what beautiful gardens you have.

Hi Carol, hope you didn’t have any bad storms yesterday.  I see Miss Kimberly is a “rescuer-er” as well :) Good pictures of all the birds around your property.   Hubby walked in as I was looking at your pictures and the one of the Morning Glory, he said, how come that one’s upright?.  We’ve been watching the cactus bloom and I will show those next week.  Guess he thought it was a cactus flower, I had to tell him otherwise.  LOL

We had nasty winds, cloud lightening and thunder but never got any rain at our house.  Guess everyone around us got lots and there were flood warnings out all over.

    Have a good day everybody.

Cliff, gorgeous shots.. what a beautiful place to visit.

Steepdrive, welcome welcome… so glad you can join us.  I love the gardens. What a beautiful memory garden it is.  So colorful… I like how huge your black eyed susans are..Thank you for joining us… But what is your first name, I don’t want to call you Steep  LOLOL

Carol, awwwwwwwww a rescue frog… yep.. that’s Miss Kim… you have more babies?? My goodness you do have the robins this year.  And yep that is a young robin. I think  you have a juvenile rose breasted and a juvenile house finch.   Love the flower bud…

Judy, you had some angry looking clouds… we had a bit of rain yesterday, in spurts.  Here and there, just enough to make me not paint outside.lol

Love the Shelties.  Nice birds, flower beds and memory flag, and scenery, of course.  The open road and sky sure makes for a pretty drive, Cliff.

Great to travel from my armchair!  The moths are neat, too.

I saw a hummingbird here the other day near my flower bed and is only the second one I have seen so far.

    Thanks for sharing.

Sharon – name is Marcia.  I post on The Potting Shed thread on Garden Chat regularly and also sporadically on Veggie Gardening.  I’m an alumni of Advice by The Yard.

I live in Maryland outside of Baltimore on 8 acres, 7 of which are dedicated forest conservation so we are amidst the critters and do battle over territory every growing season.  Deer!  Groundhogs! are the problem ones this year.  I haven’t had issue with the raccoons this year but they have been known to dig up my pots and planters so this year did very little of that type of gardening.

Catsbirds, that strange looking bug is a “MayFly” but it sure is late in hatching.  They only last a day or two at the most and the fish love ‘em!  They do not bite as their sole purpose in life is propagation right after hatching.  Once they lay their eggs, they die off and leave a mess as they usually hatch in the THOUSANDS!

Steepdrive, add my “Welcome” to the many others.  We love to share our world; our lives and our sharing and caring with all who come and visit and hopefully then stay!  I hope you’re one of the ‘stayers’!   LOL
