Good morning all!  Looks like it will be another beautiful day today.  The sun is out in full force the birds are singing….boy it was noisy out there this morning when I put out the feeders…and we are to get in the 60s today.  I have to take in the feeders at night and put them out in the morning due to the black bear that will be invading any feeder left out at night around here.  I think I will get the field camera out and try putting that up out there so I can get some night pictures of what does come in to clean up the ground.  I know the darn rabbits are out there.   They are running all over the place when I step out the door.  I guess it is spring!…LOL

I have more planting to do this morning, so that will be the first thing I get done, and then I am washing a wall or two.  I see I have a few cob webs hanging from my ceiling by the fireplace so out will come the vacuum too.  The sun sure can show a person how much cleaning they need to do.

Charlene, I would go crazy after having to deal with all those buttons on that sofa.  You did a great job on it, and I bet you are glad to have it all done.  I hope you have a great time with the grandkids.  I changed my profile picture and placed my grandson there.  He will be 18 years old this month.  I can’t believe he is all grown up.  I will have to see if he intends on coming to town, and if not I will have to see if we can get ahold of him.  My sons BD, his Dad is the 15th of this month also, so it would be nice to have a double party for the both of them.

It is great to hear from a lot of you that the snow is starting to disappear.  Stella, I am sure yours will start leaving you real soon too.  I hope all is well with your new computer.

    Have fun hiking Gitti.

Sue it is good your BIL is getting out of the hospital.  Now if he follows his doctors orders he should be fine.  You know how men are….they don’t like listening.  LOL

Wendy, good luck getting your greenhouse up.  I would like to look for a nice hobby type one for me that I can take with me if we sell here.

Everyone else do have a wonderful day in whatever you do.  I best get going, for I have a lot to get started and finished so I can go to the movies tonight with my friend.  I also have to call the forester to get those free trees they are giving away again…this time some neat shrubs and fir trees. Later…

Good morning everybody.  A nice day here, sunny , started out at 50º this morning & warming up nicely.  Anxious to get outside shortly so won’t be long here.

No real news to tell you anyway.

Charlene, you do beautiful work .  I love the couch.

Molly, they have those Lifeline Screenings here too.  Does Insurance reimburse you for any of that?

And another ?? for Molly.  There is a discussion on SE Reports about the Confederate Rose Hibiscus.  Terry (in Fla.) & JoAnn (in Ala.) both have these (yes the Hibiscus)  & cut them back this year.  JoAnn says it’s the first time she’s ever done it.   I know they are warmer than us & theirs’ is probably up & growing good already but I’m trying to figure out why they cut them back.  I never cut any Hibiscus back except for last year’s dead sticks.  Do you?   I asked JoAnn this morning.  I’ll let you know what she says if you want.

That’s about it for me.  Y’all have a great day.

Good afternoon everyone. The sun is actually shining today and the snow is melting so maybe Spring is coming, finally. The temps are dropping back down next week though.

I see that everyone is busy in one way or another.

We are trying to figure out a way that I can start some seeds upstairs as there is no way  can get down stairs. Our table is in the dining room which is carpeted, not a good place for mucking in the dirt.

Have a great day everyone, prayers for those in need.

Karen…those yellow lupine are seeds that I got from Mmarnee.  Lupine have always been perennials here.  They do only have a life span of about 5 yrs.  I doubt that they will bloom for you this year even though I started them quite early.

I am glad that only one of those plants bit the dust…..better than I anticipated after your initial report.

Abey…I reupholster for a living.  That is a couch I did for a customer.

Wendy…it is like yours, isn’t it?  I will run out there some time next week to throw that button on….lol.

Donna…I was wondering how you are doing since your fall.  I guess not back to normal yet if you can’t go down stairs.  I hope you can figure out a way to start seeds up stairs.  I sent you a card with seeds in it this morning.  It will get there, but God only knows when.

Donna, all of my house is carpeted.  I have previously used cheap shower curtains from the dollar store on the floor to protect it.  This year I had some of that black plastic that you use in the garden for mulch to keep the weeds down so I used that and it is holding up real well.  I overlap it real well and if necessary put duck tape over the seams where the plastic comes together.  The carpet in the guest room is light blue and this is the 3rd year in there and it still looks just fine.  The plastic may not look so good in the living room and dining room but my babies come before what ever guests might think.

Thanks Bette, we are still in the thinking stage right now. The main problem is the little 4 legged puppy who will not stay out of anything. It’s her house and she has to know what is going on lol.

Thank you Charlene, I will let you know when they arrive. Yup, no can do stairs :(
