Looking good Bette.  That is a lot of work to do.  Once it gets finished it will look just the way you want it to look….awesome.

Love your fountains. Bet the birds love them, too.

Like the red pump. Grandma Knox had one in her kitchen from the  cisteren. At our farm we had a well pump and did lots of that for 10 years.

Makes my little snail look so plain nd small. But I do have a good time with all of them.  The new lettuce is coming up good.

    Enjoy those fountains. Alma

Looks great Bette, I don’t know where you find the time and energy.

Hope your ankle is feeling better today.

I like your fountains….I had one sorta like the one  with the old pump when I lived in N.C.  .I gave it to my DD when I left for Ga.  and she has it on her back patio…..I bought a water pump a year ago to make me another one but haven’t started it yet.  Love the Fairy on the stump also… I have my grandpa’s large tea kettle that they used at the cabin at the river to make coffee in..It is about 18 ” high and I think I will use that for the water to pour through instead of a water pump…Those things cost a lot and I already have this..    Keep up the good work…I got out and watered half the yard this morning….and got good look at the flowers and how to close together everything is….Got a bunch of tall lilies that I think I will take out and put in a bed by themselves. or at least in the background.

    Thanks everyone.

Janet, the old tea kettle would make a great start for a fountain.  I found my pump on Ebay about 5 years ago very reasonable.  I love the sound of water running outside.  No matter where I am in the yard I can hear at least one of them.  It is so quiet here when I am out working in the yard they are so relaxing along with all the birds singing.
