One of the nurseries have Rudebeckia on sale now.  I am wondering if it is too late to plant them now?  Any special care they might need?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I think you should be able to plant them just about anytime before frost.  As long as they don’t dry out after you plant them, the should do fine.

I agree that it is fine to plant them now.  They don’t need a lot of extra care, but they do best if you can plant them in an area where they get full sun.  Charlene

It’ll probably work for you, not for me.  LOL

Thanks everyone.  I did buy 2 of them and finally got them planted.  They face the East and get full sun until early afternoon.  Never had them before so will see what happens.  They’ve been getting plenty of rain so don’t need to worry about them drying out…at least for now.
