    This happened two days, ago, in Lakewood, NJ (Ocean Cty.). The officer said that the Osprey may have been stuck there for 18 to 24 hours. I can’t find an update on his (the Osprey’s) condition. Last I heard was that he had a ‘sprained’ wing, a hole in his foot (from the fish hook), and couldn’t be ‘released’. I don’t know if they mean he can’t be released soon, or never. I fear that this Osprey has a nest of babies which is about to ‘fail’ without his attention/presence – it takes both the male and female to raise those babies. Here is the video of the ‘Rescue’…
