     Hi Feather…

Are they your cats? Neighborhood cats? Feral cats? that belong to no one? If they aren’t yours you need to talk to the owners. But if they are yours, you need to take the feeders in at night. Or during the day, you might need to find new and higher hangers.  I don’t know what you are feeding the birds but if they are getting into the feeders , is it suet? Are the cats hungry?  many things here…

Well if they are your cats, then I suggest the feeders need to be higher on a pole where the cats can’t reach them or…. the cats need to be inside… that is the best thing…

Feather – I have this same problem – our neighborhood is full of strays and feral cats. See this blog post for how I finally solved it: http://www.birdsandblooms.com/blog/feeding-birds-dealing-cats/

    Hope this helps!
