    i have only seen these in my back yard near the garden. they look to me like a dandelion cousin but i can’t find them online anywhere. anybody know?

    Is it tall? Are the leaves prickly? Where do you live? Can you take a pic of the whole plant? A close up of the leaves? That might help. Also something to compare it to…is it the size of a quarter? or a dime?

    (It reminds me of chicory…I think they come in yellow, as well as blue) I have never seen any though.

    ooohhh, thank you! i am 99% positive that is what i have based on the pic and the blurry memory i have from early morning :)

    I think we called them goats beard – but so long ago. Farmers don’t like them in their fields.

    They can be invasive – if not careful. But I love the seed heads – they are big and round like a big dandelion.
