    Think spring and hummingbirds..  the hummingbird migration map is up and running….my hummers won’t be here for 2 more months…. but I enjoy charting them on the migration map

    I do use that map every year and hang my feeders when they start getting close

    I always use it too. I don’t usually start looking for another month yet though.

    Interesting.  Look in the bottom left corner of the map.  It shows the first Ruby-throated Hummingbird in McAllen Texas on 3/2  I was in McAllen on 2/4 and photographed and reported by eBird a Ruby-throated Hummingbird at Quinta Mazatlan that morning.  But of course, they know that could not have been an early migrant!
