My Sun Parousel Dipladenia set on seed pods this past summer….and there are lots of seeds in there.  I was curious if anyone else had gotten seeds from their dipladenias and grew them or had any information about growing them.  Charlene

Charlene, the same year I rooted my Dip cuttings in water my GF started hers from seed. She made sure the seed pods were dry and turning brown before she harvested them. She soaked the seeds in water for about 12 hours then planted them shallow with a light covering of soil. She kept them moist and warm 65-75 then bright indirect light. Give them a month or so to germinate.

    Hope this helps

Thank you, Donna!  Right now I put a few in a paper towel for germination test.  I will put some more to soak tonight.  Do you know if hers bloomed the 1st year from seed?  Charlene
