Welcome to our Wednesday picture post. We invite everyone to post the picture or pictures of their choice.

Petunias are always such pretty flowers. Of course looking forward to them again.

No petunias for me.  They die out in the heat here.  I did manage to get some to grow in a container one time.  Lets see if I can find that.

Here it is.  Almost Picasso petunias & the tall plant is Persian Shield.  As you see, they are not in full sun

I love Petunias too Steve, yours are very pretty :)

Nice container Gayle, I guess you need to keep yours in the shade which is ok. The reason I was saying on yesterdays thread about the sizing was because I didn’t resize that pic and it turned out huge on the thread. Will see what these ones do.

    A couple of mine.

Gayle, have you tried cutting them way back when they start to look bad? Sometimes that helps and they will come back full and give you another flush of flowers.

Here is my little pot of petunias from a few years ago.  All I will see outside in my world today are icicles. They are already hanging on everything and it is only going to get worse throughout the day.

What a nice variety of petunias.  I usually don’t grow them but I think this year I’ll try some from seed.   My picture was taken of a hanging pot of petunias that I bought a few years ago.

Cutting them back doesn’t seem to help , Leslie.  But I forgot about these.  They got a mix of sun/shade & I will do this arrangement again this year.
