Welcome to our Tuesday picture post. Hope all of you feels free to post the picture or pictures of your choice.

One of the earliest bushes that blooms around here is the azaleas. Usually about the time they burst into bloom the hummingbirds will also show up.

    Steve, your Azaleas are beautiful.

We don’t often get snow  and Ice here  so I have some winter photos to post before it warms up and melts.

    My backyard

View from computer room window; there is a sidewalk and street out there!

Snow and Ice covered Yucca plant

    Frozen snowball bush

Today there were Robins in the backyard looking for food.

Pretty red azalea Steve.  I can’t get them to grow in this yard.

Marnee, are your Hummers still around?

Just repeat after me  Spring – Spring – Spring

Marnee, love all your pictures, would you like another 2 feet of snow to go along with yours? It’s Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

My Diladenia…..it’s sitting downstairs right now and still looks green so that’s a good sign, the other one has lost a lot of leaves…

Gayle, I appreciate your Spring photo even more now after a week of freezing temps, snow and ice.  Donna, I love your flowers and no thanks on more snow; 6 and 7 inches of snow in the yard is more than enough for me.

Yes the Hummer are still here.

I took this yesterday; Hummer on the ice covered hydrangea

    Photo: Hummer this morning

Sunday morning another hummer in the front yard; hummers guard station is in the rhododendron bush in the front yard.

Took this from a bedroom window

    I took this one Friday

another one I took on Friday

You just have to love those little Hummers!

Beautiful flower pics everyone and mmarnee nice pics of your snow.  You can have some of mine.  We are getting more this week..LOL.

My Azalea which I planted on the south side of the house and is covered with styrofoam and three feet of snow..LOL.  Wonder if it will make it this year after all the cold we got here.  It will be a miracle if it survives.

    Tulips

I am going to try to force the bulbs I kept, so we will see if that works.

Julie, your flowers are beautiful!  And no thanks on more snow but how about some sunshine.

It’s supposed to warm up and rain all week; will be wonderful to have temps above freezing again.

Steve….I always love seeing your azaleas!  They have never survived for me, so good luck to you Julie!  Yours is also very pretty.

Gayle….I can see it is Spring at your house…or at least you are optimistic that it soon will be.

Mary…I heard yesterday that the NW was getting hit with winter storms and thought of you and your hummers and many other birds.  I also wanted to tell you that I’ve had very good germination rate with those yellow lupine you shared!  Thanks again.

Rob & Gitti….what beautiful Spring flowers!  I can hardly wait.

Donna…the little fella disappeared.  He must have gotten sick of hanging out with me….very pretty dipladenia….mine are doing pretty good in the GH…knocking on wood.

Donna, you’re right.  No need to re-size pictures anymore.  They will auto size when you post.    Why?
