I don’t save a lot of seed but last fall decided to save my dahlias by color to do a special color scheme along my walk this year.  I hate cleaning seed but did the 3 colors on Tuesday and 2 of the 3 colors are up in all their glory today and the third is showing life.  The walk way will be lavender, purple and yellow.

Thanks Wendy, you have seen the dahlias planted there but I though a color scheme would be nice.

Steve, I start all my dahlia’s from seed.  I don’t have a lot of luck saving the tubers however I do have quite a few big ones I dug at the community garden that no one wanted so am hoping they have survived.

Thanks Carol.  It seems in the mixed seed the yellow seem to dominate so decided I wanted to try a color scheme.  I still have red and orange to clean and plant.  Wish one of these days there might be a white one as have a spot I would love to do red and white.
