    Could be a purple grackle….or a Brewers Blackbird… wow.. wonderful pic there.  will keep looking..

    Nope… sorry  I think it is a grackle.

    Whatever it is, it sure is pretty. I’ve never seen one that color, it’s beautiful

    Check out the warblers.

    In my original book there is a black-throated Blue Warbler.

    The head looks like it – but it has the white breast – so that rules him out – unless he got his dirty.

    Guess the grackle is right.  I had never seen them with that colorblocking.
