    We were visiting the botanical gardens one day last week and managed to get these 2 shots in the butterfly garden.

    Those are beautiful gardens, aren’t they, Steve? Se much to see and do there.

    You captured lovely shots of the Zebra Longwing, who looks like she’s actively laying eggs on passionvine, and a nice healthy looking Monarch grabbing some lunch on red penta. Thank you for sharing!

    Thank you for the comments  and those gardens are beautiful.   Thanks  too for explaining what’s going on with the Zebra Longwing and the Monarch.    We’re vacationing in Florida this week but when we return home to New England we’ll certainly be visiting our local Botanical Gardens.
