    Oh Resa, you didn’t need this! Can you hire a company that insurance will pay for to get the water out? Would be so much better if they came and did for you & then you could try to keep up. So sorry for your troubles.

    Thank you all for the {{hugs}} I needed them, {{hugs}}

    Well a team came and sucked all the water up and took away all my old scatter rugs that we had scattered down there, LOL whenever a carpet or rug got dirty and we replaced it we would put it downstairs, on the cement floors so no big loss, when Bill rebuilt the basement he put everything up off the floors, so there is not much content loss,
    the project manager came to inspect and see what more has to be done, they need to cut out some drywall where it wicked up a few inches,
    Bill was sick all day, He picked up a stomach bug somewhere, so he spent the day on the couch :( so I took care of everything, :) I did it:) all by myself!!! Got 5 Bags of stuff ready to take down to the red cross, will have more tomorrow, It’s a good excuse to clean out the basement like I have been threatening for the last few years,
    So everything is on track, and I am pleased with how fast they got here, and they were all great,

    It’s good to hear you had good people helping you out!  That’s great!  And you will feel so much better getting the basement sorted out, too. Funny how the entire house feels different somehow. I hope Bill feels better soon & you don’t catch that bug. And here’s an extra hug (RESA) just because……!

    Resa, I am really glad to know that insurance came and helped you out with the flooding mess .  You surely didn t need to deal with the clean-up any more than absolutely necessary, hon.

    I hope Bill feels better very soon and also that you don t share his bug ….

    Sleep well tonight knowing tomorrow will be a better day ….

    You are always in my prayers ….
