It was such a beautiful day, wow! Walked, washed my car and raked the leaves out of one side of my flowers along the driveway. If it gets cold I’m going to have to bring the house plants I set outdoors into the garage, they take up so much space in my kitchen that I’m just tired of it. Hope I win the lottery by next winter because I will have a sun porch. LOL It really gets me when I see people that do have one and not one single plant.

Good morning everyone, it’s 52° very overcast and it’s raining. The rain is expected to turn to shower by this evening.  The rainy weather really make it feel chilly.

Hiker, I would also love to have a sun porch; my patio is in the shade most of the time.

Marilyn, looks like Lisa and  her hubby have some wonderful vacations.

Last night I scanned a picture of a bunny cake I made over 25 years ago.

Marg, thanks I do enjoy all the sculptures my nephew makes; I do have a few outdoor ones I also enjoy.

Hi to all yet to post!

Hi ALL WBs!  We started out at 33 and got to 60 today.  It was mostly cloudy and feels like rain….there is a chance, but chances never bring us much of anything.

Marilyn,  the pics of Mexico from your DD are beautiful!

Marnee,  That is a cute pic of the Easter bunny!  I made one of those one year too.  They are too cute to eat!

    Have a Happy Easter everyone!

    Marilyn, love the pics!

    Pat, love your Easter graphic!

Mm, cute bunny cake!  Did you eat it yet or is it for today?

Good morning and Happy Easter Everyone,

We started with clouds and temps in the 40s for a chilly start for Easter Sunday. It’s 55° now and sunny; they tell us today should be partly to mostly sunny with highs warming to around 67 degrees.

Marg, the cake I posted yesterday was of an Easter Bunny cake I made over 25 years ago, and I  decided it was time to make another cake for my niece’s children. I will take this cake to our family Easter dinner  today.

    Photo

Marilyn, those are beautiful pictures from Lisa’s trip to Mexico.

Pat, the cake’s are fun to make; my sister helped me make this one. The first one I made was for her children so we thought it would be fun to make one for another one of my niece’s children.  I did pink ears again as my great Niece loves pink.

    Have a Happy Easter everyone!

Got to 74°, beautiful. Went to church, took a nap and then a walk. No company fixed lunch for son and I. Oldest son and wife were down yesterday, he cleaned my computer up for me because I had so much junk on it, even the adblock wouldn’t work.

    Hi All,

We started at 48 cool degrees, it’s 71 sunny degrees now. We had 3.5″ of rain on Friday, our GS stayed indoors during his visit, he likes playing his little video games. He lost one of his big front teeth during last week, I remember the fun days of “two front teeth” missing

We had a Judge trial this morning, our lawyer and the banks lawyer agreed that our names weren’t on MIL property mortgage, the judge ruled that we aren’t financially responsible for the debt or property. We didn’t have to sign anything or testify, I guess they’ll send us a copy of the judgement, Joyce is sure happy but I don’t trust our legal system at all….we’ll see :?: This had been going on since BIL died April of 2009, MIL died Aug. of 2007, it was her estate.

DW decided on chicken and dumplings for Easter, we’ll have leftover fried pork ribs from Saturday for tonight’s meal. Our Bleeding Hearts vine had three of its white flowers open, each one has the dark red stem with a dark red flower and  five parts :-) We enjoyed the golf match, we like both Kuchar and Donald, Kuchar made a great save on his last shot on the 18th.

Hi ALL WBs!  We started out warmer than Florida!!!  It was 52 here and is going to 70, sunny and windy….very beautiful.  They said it is 10 degrees above average, but will be dropping this week.

Finally, I think spring has sprung.  I saw pussy willows and wild onions out in the woods.

Marilyn,  those are sure beautiful pics from your DD of Mexico!

Marnee,  Your bunny cake is sooo cute!

This afternoon I got the horses vaccinated with their annual rabies plus tetnus, west nile, etc. shots.  Then I wormed them and vaccuumed some of the winter hair off.  They aren’t ready to shed it all yet though.  Dakota is leary of the dairy vacc, but Dreamer loves it.

    Have a good day everyone!

Good evening everyone, I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Holiday. We had a very nice Easter; after church we had a lovely family dinner at my nieces.

We started today with mostly cloudy skies with temps around the area in the upper 40s lower 50s. We had some filtered sunlight between showers and the showers have turned to rain.

    Hi Marilyn!

Hiker, it is really nice that your son was able to help on your computer.

Marg, 70° sounds really nice. I see you started out with a frosty morning; I think we can still get frost around here until the end of April.

Pat, your temps were warmer today than ours. I guess horses need to be vaccinated just like any other animal would. Have you taken any current pictures of Dakota & Dreamer; or don’t they like the camera?

Terry, it’s good that you are not financially responsible for the debt on that property.

Hi to all yet to post.

    Hi All,

We started at 52 foggy degrees, it’s 70 cloudy degrees with a 40% chance of rain by noon. I went to the fish camp this morning, the bayou is still up five feet at the boat launch. I drove over and put some corn out on our north property, aired up a lawn tractor tire and checked the tire air pressures on the Neon and both Dakotas.

Our new bamboo shoots are 10′-12′ tall now and there’s several more smaller shoots starting up. Our reddish orange native Azalea  is in full bloom. Some of the wild Verbena has started blooming, it’s purple.

DW just called, our DD made a typo and paid a $3,000 overage  on a account, now she’s trying to get the company to return the money to their bank account so checks won’t bounce….why are businesses so hard headed :?: DW took $3,000 from our Credit Union account and put it into the kids account just now. There’s always something in life to cause worries, it will work out.

Pat….You sound like my friends in Parker PA, they’re always   having something done with their horses, cats and dogs. Their horses have decided that the fresh grass sprouting taste a lot better than their stored hay :-)

Marnee….Bank of Shame is well known for their crooked ways, our government lets most banks get away with cheating their customers :-( If this causes a credit score problem for us, we’ll have to do something about that.

Marilyn….The Bleeding Heart vine is from MIL’s home, this is the first time it has bloomed for us since I moved it three years ago :-) The flowers look so delicate, they’re tiny.

Good morning everyone and Happy Earth Day!

One of my rhododendrons is just starting to bloom.

    Photo

After a night of  heavy rain we started with cloudy skies and temps in the 40s; it’s now 55° and we have a sun break.  We are supposed to have scattered showers throughout the day and daytime highs are expected to stay in the cool 50s.

Marilyn, those are some beautiful pictures from Mexico; thanks for sharing them.

I  have a call in to Lollies eye specialist; we are supposed to give him an progress report today and see where we go from here.

Terry, sorry to  hear about that typo; hopefully the company will return the money.  That’s a good question why are businesses so hard headed.  Not long ago I received a bill for 3 cents from a mail order pharmacy, all my records indicated I had a zero balance and I had always paid just what they billed. I called and their customer service wasn’t any help and as it would take a lot of ink to copy the payments I had made I just mailed them three pennies. Didn’t want three cents to hurt my credit score even if they were wrong.

    Have a wonderful day everyone.
