One of our most popular and most requested projects was the ladybug bowling ball. Then, because that was so popular, our staff created the bumblebee bowling ball. These little bugs add color and flair to any garden. They’re pretty simple to make, too.
To prove that the possibilities are endless when it comes to bowling balls, here’s another idea—a mosquito!
My uncle, Kurt, made this adorable mosquito (after making 3 each of the ladybug and bumblebee) complete with a red biting apparatus as if it had just bitten someone!
If you’re not sure where to get one, check your local dump. (I’m pretty sure my uncle isn’t allowed to bring any more bowling balls home!)
What have you made using an old bowling ball? We’d love to hear your ideas!
