We are having a birdathon on May 9, International Migratory Bird Day, during The Biggest Week in American Birding festival in Ohio. Editor Stacy Tornio and Senior Editor Kirsten Sweet will compete (along with their fantastic teams) to see who can spot the most birds in only three hours!
You can learn more about Stacy’s team here. They are birding for Black Swamp Bird Observatory, organizers of The Biggest Week in American birding festival.
You can learn more about Kirsten’s team here. They are birding for the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
Birds & Blooms will donate $750 to the winning team’s charity and $250 to the runner-up. But we could still use your help in raising funds for these wonderful organizations. Support one or both teams via our Crowdrise page.
We’d like to give a special thanks to Birds Choice™, our contest sponsors. They will be giving away three bird-feeding prize packages consisting of an Oriole Feeder, Finch Feeder and a Recycled Hanging Fly-Thru Feeder, all made in the US. Birds Choice™ makes amazing bird products like the ones pictured here, and they also make birdhouses, baths and more. To be eligible to win, just click to enter below.
