Burning Bushes

The burning bushes planted on the west side of my house receive full afternoon sun, but they've never turned red in fall. Is there anything I can do to remedy this?

Melinda: Avoid overfertilizing the plants. Too much nitrogen can interfere with these shrubs' fall color. I suggest you adjust your fertilizing and wait for the beautiful red leaves to appear.
