Hummingbird Visitors

I planted a hummingbird garden years ago but have yet to see a hummingbird. Why don't they visit my garden?

George: Try placing a hummingbird nectar feeder near or among the red flowers in your garden. This should create a target area for hummingbirds passing by. Make your own nectar by mixing four parts water to one part sugar. Boil until the sugar's dissolved, then let the mixture cool before filling your feeder. You can store leftover nectar in your refrigerator for up to 1 week.
