Weatherproof Plant Markers
For just pennies, you can make these plant markers that will stand up to all kinds of weather.
Window blind slats make great plant identification stakes:
Step 1: Take an old set of blinds, remove the slats and snip them apart into 8-inch lengths, cutting one end to a point with scissors or tin snips.
Step 2: Use a permanent black marker to label the plant or variety.
Step 3: Stick the slat into the soil next to your flowers or vegetables, and you'll always know what you planted.
