Seed Money
I save seeds from all my vegetables and flowers. I wash them, dry them on wax paper, put them in brown paper lunch bags, and close each bag with a paper clip. I store the bags in an old tin (the kind left over from mixed popcorn during the holidays). I keep this tin in the basement until February or March, when I plant the seeds in a small portable greenhouse in my sunroom. —Arden Regnier, East Moriches, New York
