Funny Face Markers

I had an abundant supply of wooden kitchen tools, so I decided they would make pretty and functional row markers in my garden. I sanded them and painted them with exterior paint.

When they were dry, I drew whimsical faces on them and wrote the plant name with a permanent marker on the yellow side, then sprayed them twice with an exterior varnish. They make a colorful addition to my garden. —Nancy Sandberg, Cheyenne, Wyoming
