Cookies for the Birds

Use Christmas cookie cutters to make birdseed ornaments. Just cut shapes from leftover bread and brush them with eggwhite. Then press them in birdseed and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Thread yarn about one-quarter inch from the tops of the ornaments and hang on trees. —Megan Williams, Belleville, New York
