Iridescent greenish-blue above and white below. Females may be duller.
Habitat:

Typically an early-morning singer, the tree swallow's song is a pleasant gurgling chatter when in flight.
Nest:
Females build nests in tree cavities, woodpecker holes and bluebird boxes.
Diet:
Insects, berries and seeds.
Backyard Favorites:
Offer feathers in a suet cage or on lawns as nesting material.
