Texas Pride

"With the Lone Star State flag painted on the roof, this birdhouse is a tribute to the great state of Texas," writes Thelma Gulledge of Brookshire, Texas. "Our friend Darryl Giddens, who built the house for us, cleverly made the entrance in the shape of the state and the window a star. Not long after my husband, Lee, hung the birdhouse in our arbor, a pair of Carolina wrens moved in and raised a family. I guess they like our state as much as we do."
