"I love growing my own gourds and using them to create birdhouses," says Jo Ann Sutherland from Santaquin, Utah. "I was looking through all my gourds, hoping for inspiration for a project to add to my copper garden, when I located the perfect one. The shape of this gourd was just right for a kokopelli, which is the Native American musical figure that's popular in Southwestern art."
