Fanciful Fortress

"After completing several other woodworking projects, I had a pile of scrap lumber on my hands, so I decided to build a birdhouse," explains Ken Hawkins of Decatur, Indiana. "What I ended up with was more like a huge bird playhouse! The building is 32 inches tall, 60 inches long and weighs about 50 pounds. It took me about 6 months to make it in my spare time."
