Buckeye Barn

"When I asked my husband, Dennis, to build a birdhouse with old barn boards, he looked through past issues of Birds & Blooms for inspiration," writes Patti Duecker from Medina, Ohio. "Because he's a farm boy at heart, he chose a barn. He added a windmill, tools, a wooden rocking chair and other details to give it an authentic look. Like many barns in Ohio, our miniature has the bicentennial logo painted on it."
