Send in a photo of your Favorite Backyard View and you could win!
We're looking for a photo of your "Favorite Backyard View," whether that's a flower bed, birds at your feeder, your most comfortable deck chair or the view out your kitchen window...you choose what best fits the theme for you!
We'll be awarding six cash prizes, including a $750 first-place prize, $400 for second place, $200 for third and three $50 honorable mention prizes. Birds & Blooms staff will judge the entries received by the deadline and choose the six winners. Entries will be judged on originality (50%), photo quality (30%) and written materials (20%). When entering (see Contest Details at right), it's important to tell us about the photo and how it fits the theme, Favorite Backyard View.
The entry deadline is February 2, 2009. The winners will be posted on the Birds & Blooms Web site no later than March 10, 2009.
